Upcoming CAs

Guys,

yesterday's training was really SAD! With only 6 people, we couldn't even get a full game together! Where were you 2A3 boys??? :(

Anyway, just a quick update for those of you who weren't at training yesterday. We introduced hucking, which is when you make the long throw (called a huck) and somebody runs to catch it in the end zone. We'll do more practice next training.

CAs are coming up next week, and as such we won't be having any practice next week. If most of you finish your CAs by Thursday, let me know and maybe we can arrange for a practice on Friday. But as it stands now, no practice next week. I also expect that all my frisbee players at least pass all their papers. If you don't do well, the school may not be as encouraging of the sport. But if you can show that playing Ultimate doesn't affect your studies, and in fact makes you a better student, then maybe the school will start taking the sport seriously, and that's gonna help when you guys push to have Ultimate recognised as a CCA in school.

All the best for your upcoming papers, and see you soon!

ps. Some of you have told me that you want to buy your own discs. The official discs are available at $20 each (http://www.singaporeultimate.com/content/blogcategory/60/93/) If you are interested, let me know how many discs you guys want in total, as well as the colour. I think they have white, blue, and glow in the dark.

pps. For those of you who are wondering why your forehand throws never go where you want, try this site: http://www.ultimatehandbook.com/Webpages/Beginner/forehand.html

Regards,
Mr Ng
